PSF Meeting Minutes for Dec. 2, 2015
A regular meeting of the Python Software Foundation ("PSF") Board of Directors was held over Group Conference Call via phone and Internet Relay Chat beginning at 18:00 UTC, on December 02, 2015. Ewa Jodlowska took notes/minutes.
All votes are reported in the form "Y-N-A" (in favor-Y‚opposed-N‚abstentions-A; e.g. "5-1-2" means "5 in favor, 1 opposed, and 2 abstentions").

1 Attendance
The following members of the Board of Directors (6 of 11) were present at the meeting: Van Lindberg, Naomi Ceder, Marc-Andre Lemburg, Anna Ossowski, Carol Willing (via proxy), and Diana Clarke (via proxy)
Kurt Kaiser (Treasurer), and Ewa Jodlowska (Director of Operations) were also in attendance.
2 Minutes of Past Meetings
The 09 November 2015 Board meeting minutes were voted on and approved.

RESOLVED, that the Python Software Foundation sponsor Django Girls Inland Empire workshop happening at UC Riverside on December 5, 2015, in the amount of $1000 USD.

RESOLVED, that the PSF Scientific Python Work Group approve a grant for PyData Madrid in the amount of $2,000 USD for their conference happening in April of 2016.

RESOLVED, that the Python Software Foundation sponsor the Django Girls Cologne workshop, happening November 28 in the amount of $600 USD.

6.5 2015 4th Qtr CSA - Terri Oda
RESOLVED, that the PSF award Terri Oda the 2015 fourth quarter Community Service Award for her successful organization of Google Summer of Code for the past few years (2013, 2014, 2015). Acting as the GSoC coordinator for Python, Terri organizes students, mentors, and participating Python projects. In 2015, over 70 students participated for Python

7 Other Business / Discussions
- The board deferred to fund the Python/XMPP based decentralized social network grant request. The discussion has been moved back to the mailing list.
- It was decided that the Hyperion Development grant would be disbursed on a schedule agreed upon with the organizers. Ewa to follow up with grant requester to setup disbursement amounts and schedule.
- The board has discussed the grant request from PyCon Cameroon and their grant for the same workshop to the Perl Foundation. It was decided that the board would need an email vote.
- The board discussed ways to improve grant requests and processes. Ewa will work on creating a tracking spreadsheet and also a flow chart to show the process involved with a grant request.
