Minutes of a Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors

May 17, 2023

A regular meeting of the Python Software Foundation ("PSF") Board of Directors was held over Group Conference Call via phone and Internet Relay Chat/Slack beginning at 19:00 UTC, on May 17, 2023. Olivia Sauls took notes/minutes.

All votes are reported in the form "Y-N-A" (in favor-Y‚opposed-N‚abstentions-A; e.g. "5-1-2" means "5 in favor, 1 opposed, and 2 abstentions").

1   Attendance

The following members of the Board of Directors (8 of 12) were present at the meeting: Nina Zakharenko, Jeff Triplett, Joannah Nanjekye, Jannis Leidel, Simon Willison, Débora Azevedo, Dawn Wages, Tania Allard.

Joe Carey (Accounting Manager), Phyllis Dobbs (Controller), Ee Durbin (Director of Infrastructure), Laura Graves (Financial Analyst), Olivia Sauls (Program Director), Loren Crary (Director of Resource Development), Chloe Gerhardson (Infrastructure Engineer) were also in attendance.

    • Big post-con reporting is expected soon
    • Met lots of folks who run smaller PyCons and meet-ups and will be following up on the best ways to keep those conversations going

The PSF will collect targeted donations and reimburse properly receipted expenses on their behalf up to the level of the donations made to this project. This project must not represent that they are independent legal entities and abide by the regulations stated in the Python Software Foundation Standard Fiscal Sponsor Agreement.
