Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong Python development skills, React experience, and practical experience integrating AI capabilities into software applications. You will contribute across the application stack, building backend services with Django and Flask, developing React interfaces, and designing reliable PostgreSQL databases. You should also have hands-on experience with AI integrations or AI agents that interact with tools, APIs, or application data.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain Python applications and backend services using Django and Flask.
• Develop responsive React interfaces and connect them to backend APIs.
• Design PostgreSQL schemas, manage migrations, and improve query performance.
• Integrate AI models and services into application features and business workflows.
• Build or extend AI agents that use tools, external APIs, and application data.
• Improve application reliability, security, performance, and error handling.
• Write automated tests, review code, and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Participate in architecture decisions, mentor other engineers, and collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 8–15 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Python programming skills and hands-on experience with Django and Flask.
• Experience building frontend applications with React and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills, including database design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Practical experience integrating AI services or developing AI agents.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, testing, and secure development practices.
• Ability to own features from technical design through production support.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions.
• Must be physically located in the United States and authorized to work without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LLM APIs, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation, or agent orchestration.
• Experience evaluating AI output quality and managing latency, cost, and failure cases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, Docker, CI/CD, and production monitoring.
