Job Description

We are currently seeking the opportunity to work as a "Data Scientist" on a multinational Fortune 500 Project in Canada. Shape inventive solutions and propel technological progress. Responsibilities:

• Work on a variety of problems to better understand how customers use our products and what drives deeper adoption and usage of these products.
• Apply your quantitative analysis, data mining, and machine learning expertise to build models that influence product development, strategy, and roadmap prioritization.
• Design and implement machine learning pipelines to enhance evidence-based decision-making capabilities.
• Partner with senior cross-functional leaders, including Product, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Design, to ensure data-driven decisions across the organization by applying the appropriate data science and analytics approaches where they will have a significant impact.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for less-experienced team members to deliver key ML-powered features for our Digital Customer Platform.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• MS/PhD in a quantitative field: Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Statistics/Analytics, Computer Science, or other relevant fields.
• Solid experience and a passion for designing, analyzing, and deploying machine learning-based solutions.
• Experience working with relational SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience working with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Hive).
• Fluency with one or more programming languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc.
• Experience with data science toolkits like pandas, Jupyter, scikit, TensorFlow, etc.
• Familiarity with Machine Learning techniques, e.g., classification, clustering, regularization, optimization, dimension reduction, etc.
• Ability to write high-quality, well-documented, scalable code - Python preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex/technical work to a non-technical audience and to present data effectively.
• Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS).
• Experience with Large Language Models (RAG, Generative AI) and NLP.
• Experience with recommender systems.
