survey of modules to be added to stdlib

This is an informal survey to gauge the community's interest in adding
popular modules to the python standard library.

In no particular order, here's my personal list of favourites:

path.py - Jason Orendorff
elementree - Fredrik Lundh
ctypes - Thomas Heller
psyco - Armin Rigo
IPython - Fernando Pérez

BTW is there an official set of conditions that have to be met before a
module can be accepted into the stdlib?
