Just for completeness (not sure if I mentioned it in this group) -- I
ended up with a similar solution, except I downloaded Xitami instead
of Apache (looks simpler/smaller to me, but I could be wrong).  It
offers a similar "shebang-despite-being-on-Windows" approach to
runnin Python CGI scripts.
