ZOPE/XML

Hello..:)
I've made a text-editing py-module to my Zope-installation and I want it to 
return the text as 'pure' xml. When I try to do this however it'll return a 
text starting with
<html><head></head>
<?xml version="1.0"?>

How do I get rid of this? I need this to be returned with <?xml?> as a start 
since the program getting the return reads pure xml.
