Python 1.5.2 + Linux 2.0.36 == Bad Combo?

Hello!

   I run python 1.5.1 and (mostly) 1.5.2 on many computers with different
hardware and/or software configurations, among them there are Linux 2.0.36
(RedHat 5.1 and (mostly) Debian 2.1). I write hundreds of programs and CGIs
and haven't found any minor problem with Python. (But I've never touched
the programs you mentioned.)
   Run stress-tests on you hardware, esp. memory...

           Programmers don't die, they just GOSUB without RETURN.
