  And CNRI did handle the contracting for the Unicode support, so it's
reasonable for it to be in there.  But I wasn't at the consortium
meeting, so don't know if any specific technical decisions were made
there (I'd expect not).
  I was trapped on an airplane high above the earth, locked in battle
with a recent version of LaTeX2HTML.  ;(
