Interesting... Have you tried running ~mailman/bin/check_perms -f (as
root on the system)?  Did it find any problems?

What version of Postfix are you running?

What OS are you running on?

What version of Mailman?

How did you install Mailman (from source, via ports, using rpms, using
apt get...)?

If you installed from source, did you read the README.POSTFIX file - and
follow all of its very specific and wonderful instructions?
