[Mailman-Users] new mailman installation

I am running a debian-linux system and want to set up some mailman
mailing lists. Should I (1) go ahead and start the lists using 1.1
and then upgrade when 2.0 becomes final, (2) install 2.0beta as a
starting point, or (3) wait until 2.0 becomes final to start the
lists? Is the upgrade expected to be relatively painless?
