[TriZPUG] Reminder: TriPython October 2014 Meeting: pg

As this week will be our first formal meeting at RENCI, I should say a
couple of things about getting to the meeting. If you are coming from
the east (from Durham or Raleigh), then you should know that the
intersection for Europa Drive/Erwin Rd/15-501 (aka N. Fordham Blvd aka
Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd) is not straightforward. You'll have to go past
the intersection, stay in the left lane, and take the U-turn lane with a
traffic light. There is no left-turn off 15-501 onto Europa Drive. There
is, however, a U-turn lane on 15-501. The good news is, once you are at
the Europa Center where RENCI is, there's a gigantic free parking deck
right beside the building. The front door is unlocked until 11pm and
there will be signage in the lobby pointing you to the elevator to
meeting room. RENCI/Europa Center is directly across the Europa Drive
from the Chapel Hill Sheraton. See you there.
When: Thursday, October 23, 7pm
Where: Renaissance Computing Institute (RENCI)
Biltmore Conference Room, 5th Floor, Europa Center
100 Europa Drive, Suite 590, Chapel Hill
What:
"""
TriPython's Carrboro meetings are moving to spacious digs at RENCI in
Chapel Hill. Michael Fogleman will demonstrate pg, his very own
impressive, lightweight, high-level OpenGL graphics framework for
Python. Lightning talks, 5 to 10 minutes extemporaneous expositions on a
topic of interest to you, something you recently learned, kind of like a
show and tell, are always welcome as well. Plenty of free parking is
available in the RENCI parking deck. We will be choosing a new
after-meeting water hole at the meeting as well. Come join us for a fun
and informative evening.
