My brother informs me the doctors are removing Dad's ventilator in 15  
minutes. The damage is too great and my Father always made it very  
clear not to keep him hooked up to tubes. I'm stuck on the plane at  
the gate in Chicago now while maintenance workers are trying to fix a  
fuse in the onboard coffee pot. I can't get home fast enough.
