There is an abundance of development with and in Tk; it's not
publicized well, though.  Tk's market position *is* a potential
problem, though.

What's most certain is that there are large, well-entrenched
mission-critical Tk-based applications that will still be in
use (building aircraft, designing semiconductors and automobiles,
charting hurricanes, ...) a decade from now.
