"param func:	Must to an array of length..."  Must cast to?  Must point
to?  What verb belongs here?

"param identity: XXX: Undocumented" (from list of params following the
first Note in the section titled Functions.)  Is this a pointer to
self?  An implementation of the identity mapping?  (Which would be
functionally equivalent to the former, correct?)  "Undocumented" on
purpose (i.e., I can just delete the "XXX")?
