Big thank you's to all who have helped with the transition to numpy.   
It went relatively smoothly, I think.  Special kudos to Pearu Peterson 
who helped tremendously with getting scipy converted to use numpy 
instead of scipy.base.

Tests are passing for me and I've heard reports that tests are passing 
for others as well.

I'll still wait until tomorrow to cut a release of numpy.  Then Friday a 
release of scipy should be ready.
