[Pythonmac-SIG] GUSI (background question)

Hi, all,

Well, at this time i doubt that i will ever be much use to the collective
effort to develop MacPython, but could anyone explain briefly what GUSI is?
i guess it is a library that is being used, and Jack mentioned Thread
support, so i guess it is at a fairly low level.

No need to knock yourselves out over this one, i just want to understand
better what is going on on the list, and this has come up quite a lot these
past few months.
