Hi.

The likely final updates before the next release are at the repo. People
using Subversion can do an 'svn update' and get them.

The bit in the subject about 'preference changes' deals with how the
data in the 'Edit'->'Preferences' dialog is handled. Previously the
values would be applied to the Image within the window where the menu
was called from. Now, the changes are kept in the 'globals.prefs'
variable, but they are not applied to the active Image. Also, when
you click the 'OK' button in the preference dialog, a file storing
the preference settings is saved to ${HOME}/.pythoncad/prefs.py, so
the next time you start PythonCAD you preferences are reloaded
and used again. A standing complaint with PythonCAD in that the
preferences are lost when the program is closed is now resolved. Yay!

I'll be gone for this week, and early next week the release will be
made and the websited updated. Subsequent releases will work on
improving the preferences dialog as well as other control of Image
option settings.
