The closest that I have come across is Andrew Kuchling's 'Python Grimoire',
at <http://starship.python.net/crew/amk/grimoire/html/grimoire.html>, but
it's not currently being maintained.

There was also talk of putting together an exact equivalent - see
<http://sourceforge.net/project/?group_id=6064>, but it's all a bit quiet.
Which is a shame, 'cos it would be *very* handy for a newbie like me...
