Cannot create objects in Zope 2.2.0

That's what I got from the technical support of Zope:

Hi Alexander -

This is a known issue in 2.2.0 that is fixed in CVS (and
is fixed in the upcoming 2.2.1 which should be released
next week). There is a description of the problem and a
patch you can use in the meantime if you want:
