[Tim, asks Peter Schneider-Kamp about the Open Letter]

I have been thinking about what I can do if Bob chooses not to reply
at all. My options - as I see it - are:

- do nothing. pros: easy, fast. cons: ineffective.
- take the signatures which have been rolling in since I mailed
Ghengis and resend the letter with an addition that, for a change, I would
just love to get a reply. pros: I would feel better. cons: he didn't care
enough the first time to even reply at all...
- make a paper letter and send it by snail mail, copy to Ophrah Winfrey.
pros: chance to design some snake paper with holy grail watermarks.
cons: greenpeace says there is already enough paper waste - and I never
really liked Ophrah's show in the first place.
- send my declaration of independence. pros: fun. cons: contraproductive.

This makes me feel helpless. I am not sure I like that.

This sounds like a good idea. Hope the author of "The Role of Government
in the Evolution of the Internet" and co-author of "The past and future
history of the Internet" takes this more serious.

Would this be something done by I-speak-for-myself-and-not-even-for-myself
Tim or by the PythonLabs.com team (NASDAQ symbol: SPAM).

[Tim's obvious plug for help]

Okay, I promise I'll review some more patches tonight <0.4 wink>.

or-I'll-just-get-carried-away-hacking-ly y'rs
