Language adoption is a slow process, unless you're a Major
Power (tm) like Sun and you spend millions of dollars advertising
the language. Python is seeing steady growth, and is becoming
quite popular. If it had a native compiler that could approach
the speed of lisp compilers, I suspect that it's growth rate
with double or more. It's a truly fantastic environment.
