probably mostly due to lack of access to Windows boxes.

But 'compiling' is an ambiguous term in building PyPy. I'll presume that
you're talking about the final step after translation here?

In $TMP/usession-<branch-name>-<seq.#>, you'll find testing_1/Makefile,
which is very straightforward and easily adapted.
