Hi there,

Thank you for your reply!

Are you also planning on attending PyCon US 2020 and 2021? We are looking for someone to help with the Open Spaces as chair for 2020 and 2021 so it would be important that you could be physically present.

Thank you!
Anna

You are appreciated.
You are enough.
You matter.
You are not alone.

It's a small meetup like event where communities, organizations and even other people come together to share information, promote their programs, spread awareness with attendees of PyCon. These take place throughout the day, with sessions happening that anyone can attend. I love open spaces, because of the great time I spent networking with awesome people. In PyCon India 2017, we had a session from Nouful Ibrahim on the importance of mentoring and his love for calligraphy. He was also the keynote speaker at that year. These sessions are kept light, and informative.

I genuinely love working for PyCon's any way I can and have been part of many in the past years as well.

I know the commitment that is needed, responsibilities and time and effort that needs to be put in at my end all too well. Being a student it all fits neatly in my schedule as well, just like other times when i am helping other PyCon's. Being an attendee, volunteer, organizer, and even a speaker at PyDelhi meetups and conferences has given me enough experience to work remotely effectively, be humble and lovely to all, share my views constructively and also keep in touch at all times.

I would probably be coming to the conference as well if my application or speaker proposal is accepted. But, no matter what I will be helping out with Open-Spaces the best I can from here.
