[IronPython] status of 0.9.5

Check out the video of JimH: http://blogs.msdn.com/hugunin/default.aspx .. It shows him importing the 2.4 library.

IronPython is distributed with the unit tests, which you can run (you may have to enable some).

Not much of an answer, I grant, but it's better than muzak for waiting. ;)

Hello.

I'm curious about the status of iron.  I was happy to see the mailling
list seemed fairly active in November.  I would specifically like to
know how many of the Python 2.4 unittests pass/don't pass.  I'd also
like to know the speed.  Jim had impressive numbers a long time ago,
but now that it has matured, has the perf changed much.  What is the
perf on .NET vs. Mono?

Finally, how many tests fail and are there things which should be
changed in the python tests because there are assumptions about the
environment.  There are already conditions dealing with windows,
darwin, jython, etc.  Are any other changes necessary for iron python?
