[Distutils] Deprecating little used file types/extensions on PyPI?

Sorry for the lack of clarity, I was indeed looking for these numbers
for recent uploads.

This suggests there is a small but non-negligible group still uploading
eggs. Is it worth looking at what projects are doing this, and
potentially contacting some authors to understand why?
