First of all, my stupidity: I thought the segments were 5GB, but they
are only 500MB, so the collected data was 1GB big and not 10GB. I tried
to start it from an xterm and it finishes without a problem.

Anyway, there was another problem because after the two first segments,
borg was still running for at least half an hour and was waiting for
something according to strace. I just ^C'd the script because of the
10GB issue (which was in fact 1GB).

Perhaps something wrong with the luks encrypted disk I'm using as
backup device. I'll find that out later tonight.
