Dear all,

I would like to announce the first beta release of HENDRICS, High ENergy
Data Reduction Interface from the Command Shell.

This provisionally-accepted Astropy affiliated package is a set of scripts,
based on the spectral timing library Stingray, to analyze the fast
variability of X-ray data from multiple missions.
It is an evolution of MaLTPyNT, an in-development affiliated software
package originally designed for the analysis of NuSTAR data. Currently
supported missions include also RXTE and XMM (but most of the analysis can
be done on any compatible event files from other missions).

This beta release is the first with the new API based on Stingray. The code
is currently in feature freeze, and a stable version will be made available
after a testing period of approximately one month (unless major bugs
appear).
