I'm sure I'll pay for this typo/freudian slip/whatever.  Of course I meant 
"conformance".  I know that 4XSLT's performance will remain on the slower side 
until we re-write it in the architecture we prototyped.

Although it does fluctuate a great deal, and it's not always easy to see why.
