Well, since beta release is bug-fix only, I agree with your implication
that the next 4Suite release should be beta.

But I don't think beta is good enough for Woody (at least not when it
becomes Debian Stable).  Debian Stable is precisely for mature
packages.  4Suite 0.12.0 still needs work in this department, not least
in the documentation.
