Ah. Finally something rational and understandable!

I do have to say that the traffic over the past week has been quite
weird. I watched as people went on about a lot of theory and just kept
asking myself, "why? what's the point?"

Did I miss it, or has somebody created a specific list of things to
change in the Python object model? In other words, what/why needs to
change? [Gordon makes a good argument point here: it is really just
getattr behavior]
