[SciPy-user] optimize.leastsq crashs my interpreter

What CPU are you running Hans?
I had scipy 0.4.9 run fine on my laptop which is a Pentium M, and crashed at
my AMD Athlon XP

Did I get that right? My code works for you on XP with scipy 0.4.9?

I *have* 0.4.9 (from official binary distribution) and the interpreter 
crashes.

I'm confused...
