Specifically, C extension modules can be handled in one of two ways: you
can unpack the zipped egg (as I have for most of the above), or you can
leave it zipped and the extension modules will be unpacked to a
particular directory on the first import. I usually unpack the eggs so
that I can use ipython's ?? magic which needs a real file on the filesystem.
