Over the last few days, there have been a number of improvements made to the
http://www.scipy.org web site. Some of the changes worth mentioning are:

- We now have a nightly build/test/update process in place that builds and
tests over 30 different platform and subcomponent configurations for SciPy.
Right now we are testing on Linux (Red Hat 7.2), Windows 2000 (cygwin) and
Windows 2000 (mingw), with various versions of Python, Numeric and f2py. The
latest CVS version of SciPy is used for each test. Some of the test
configurations also include the latest CVS versions of Python, Numeric and
f2py.

The results of each build/test process are automatically uploaded to the
SciPy.org web site and are made visible through the new "Downloads"
(http://www.scipy.org/site_content/download_list) and "Build/Test
Scoreboard" (http://www.scipy.org/site_content/scoreboard) pages.

- The new "Downloads" page (link is at the top of the site menu on the left
side of the page) provides links to all the latest SciPy source and binary
tarballs that are built nightly for each platform.

- The new "Build/Test Scoreboard" page (link is in the site navigation menu
on the left of each page) shows the latest build/test results for each
configuration tested, including whether or not it "built" successfully, the
number of tests that failed or had errors, as well as a link to the detailed
log generated by the build/test process.

- There have also been a number of "cosmetic" changes made to the site,
including streamlining and reorganizing of the site menus, which hopefully
will make the site easier to navigate.
