tutor@python.org is the place to go! I actually have come the other 
way: after years of Python on Win32 and Linux, and many a helping hand 
from the folks on tutor@python.org, I've now arrived on pythonmac-sig. 
:) Trust me, you will not find a more helpful, patient or knowledgeable 
group that the guys over there.
