Pepper has recently come alive again and it can do the sensible thing
with spaces as tabs. Contact "J. Todd Slack"
<jason@digitalwandering.com>; he bought it from the original
developer to bring it back to life.

I have to say, I've stuck with tabs myself (using a tab width of 4).
I suppose I may get in trouble someday, but it's easy to switch back
and forth. It's funny how history controls us; if the original VT100
had used a tab width of 4 instead of 8 we'd probably all be happily
coding with tabs.

Happy holidays, all.
