[Pythonmac-SIG] Is it possible to load *.dylib files into MacPython ?

I have been working with python from the unix side of OSX, and I 
wonder if it is possible to load shared libs compiled under OSX 
(unix) into MacPython and use them from MacPython ?  In case of yes, 
how is this done ?
