[Pythonmac-SIG] accessing Tkinter

Hi
As someone interested in beginning study of Python, I've just installed
the latest version on my iMac. I cannot access Tkinter. I keep getting a
message that there is no such module. I installed Tcl/Tk but that didn't
help. I have only a rudimentary knowledge of programming. In particular,
I have no idea how to "configure path-names". But I would like to learn
Python and Tkinter. I would appreciate some instructions!
