It’s easy enough to do things like this:

    if (
            TheMesh.vertices[OtherVertex].select
        and
            OtherVertex != ThatVertex
        and
            OtherVertex != ThisLine[-2]
        and
            OtherVertex != ThisVertex
    ) :
        ...
    #end if
