Just a random check. Is __gsignals__ a builtin type? Else it would probably be better not to include the postfix underscores. Though I might be wrong here. Otherwise seems pretty good and well organised. I hate it when people go comment mad, but you've kept them to the places where an explanation is required. Good job :=)
