My sensbility here being directly related to my resistance to the change in
the div operator, case sensitivity, and going too far as to the new
python.org front page.

I cannot claim to be *right* on any of these issues.  The sensibilioty
rejects - sort of - a right or wrong classfication on these kinds of issues.
But is not actually conservative and does *not* reject change.  The issues
are targeting change appropriately, and - in some sense - where the burden
of proof must necessarily lie, and certainly -  what constitutes a carrying
of that burden.

Statistics, as brought to these argument - claiming to provide some kind of
defintive basis in providing an answer - often seeming an offense.

Sometimes, an ugly one.
