SAP DB and Python

You can download the right binaries from their website. If you go to:
http://www.sapdb.org/7.4/sap_db_downloads.htm

At the bottom, you will see an row in the download table called "Python".
That's the one you need.

Does anyone know how to get a working version of sapdb.dbapi for Python 
2.3 and SAP DB 7.4?
Apparently, SAP DB 7.4 is the latest but the python module is for Python 
1.5. Is there a compiled
version around? If not, can I get the source and compile it with MinGW?
