It's been a while since I wrote those articles. But I think what I had
in mind was simply the inclusion of nested scoping as default behavior.
That happened, of course. But Python has not added anything
closure-specific like a "closure" keyword, or special syntax... there
are threads here every once in a while where someone proposes such a
thing, but I think it is unlikely to happen.
