If you're going for cross-platform then you might want to consider Qt. It's GPL'd on Linux, but you have to pay for it under Windows. I've used it under Linux, and it is really easy to use, with good screen editor, good arrangement of controls (e.g. what happens when a form is resided), good set of standard controls, ... Marc
