Make that "under most circumstances".  An opcode on a G4 does
more work per clock cycle than an opcode on a Celeron or a P4.
The G4's pipeline is more shallow than the P4's, so it's clock
speed can't go as high, but then, it doesn't get such hideous
pipeline stalls every time it mispredicts a branch.
