hi all

sorry, just a silly beginners question:

i have downloaded python 2.2.2 for win.

now i try to start the idle. it doesn't work: no screen, no
msg. :-(

iried ptyhonw.exe seperatly.no luck even a direct command
line
    C:\Python\Python22\pythonw.exe
"C:\Python\Python22\Tools\idle\idle.pyw"
doesn't work.

at least the command line python (python.exe) works.

any idea wjy the IDLE doesn want to run? do i have to
install TkInter
separately???

many thanks, leooo

Go to Start, then programs, then python 2.2. You will see
python 2.2 IDLE gui. Put your cursor on it and click right
button and send it to your desktop. Go to desktop and
double click on it. It will start right up. You could also
double click on it, right where you found it.
