Keyboard State

Hi,

sorry if this is a trivial one, but I'm looking for a way to retrieve the 
keyboard state at anytime.

I'm using pyOpenGL and GLUT.

GLUT doesnt allow to call the glutGetModifiers() fonction outside the 
mouse, keyboard and special callbacks, but I need to get the state of the 
SHIFT and CTRL keys at anytime.

Any idea ?
