As I understood, benchmarking the prereleases of C# is not allowed
by MS. German magazin c't offers some benchmarks 
(should be included in this .zip 
ftp://ftp.heise.de/pub/ct/listings/0204-098.zip)
As I understood from the article, this zip contains sources for
some little tests in C++, Java and C#, so you can compare if you have
C#. I do not have it, so do not ask me to run the tests ;-)
And of course, you have to implement them in python...
