Python and yahoo chat protocol

Is there anyone here who is familiar with python and the yahoo chat
protocol?

The reason I ask is I have a python chat client and it no longer logs into
chat. I think it may have something to do with a recent change to the log in
procedure. Anyway if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
