Fear of autocoding!

Years ago, my father -- a professor emeritus of music at the University
of Western Ontario -- coined the acronym ETD: Ego-Talent Discrepancy.
He never published, so he can't get official credit for the observation;
but I try to do what I can to get the coinage into common currency.
